The electron energy loss spectrum (EELS) of C2H2 measured in a crossed electron beam-molecular beam collision geometry has been converted to the photoabsorption spectrum, and the relative absorption cross sections have then been normalized to the absorption cross section at 50 nm reported by
J.C. Han, C. Ye, M. Suto, and L.C. Lee, "Fluorescence from photoexcitation of C2H2 at 50–106 nm", J. Chem. Phys. 90, 4000-4007 (1989); DOI: 10.1016/0022-4073(89)90046-0
