COMMENTS: The reactions of atomic chlorine and atomic oxygen with chlorine dioxide have been investigated in a flow system, and the major product ClO has been detected by observations of its UV absorption spectrum

The extinction coefficient determined by NO + ClO titration has been converted to the absorption cross section (conversion factor 3.8235×10-21)
