Cross Sections / Halogeno-alkanes+radicals / Iodoalkanes(C,H,F,Cl,Br,I) / CF3I / Fahr(1995)_295K_160-350nm

DATAFILE: CF3I_Fahr(1995)_295K_160-350nm.txt
NAME: trifluoroiodomethane
FORMULA: CF3I
AUTHOR(YEAR): Fahr(1995)
T: 295K
λ: 160-350nm
BIBLIOGRAPHY: A. Fahr, A.K. Nayak, and R. Huie, "Temperature dependence of the ultraviolet absorption cross section of CF3I", Chem. Phys. 199, 275-284 (1995); DOI: 10.1016/0301-0104(95)00193-R
COMMENTS: The absorption cross sections and their temperature dependencies were determined employing a one meter, single beam, vacuum monochromator provided with interchangeable vacuum UV and UV photomultipliers, a deuterium light source, analog to digital circuitry, a computer controlled stepping motor drive for wavelength control, and computerized data acquisition

The absorption cross section were measured at 0.1-nm intervals between 160 and 240 nm and at 0.5-nm intervals between 240 and 350 nm
