NAME: chloroethene, vinyl chloride
FORMULA: CH2=CHCl
AUTHOR(YEAR): Locht(1997)
T: 298K
λ: 107.81-206.64nm
BIBLIOGRAPHY: R. Locht, B. Leyh, K. Hottmann, and H. Baumgärtel, "The photoabsorption spectrum of vinylchloride (C2H3Cl) in the 8-12 eV range", Chem. Phys. 220, 207-216 (1997); DOI: 10.1016/S0301-0104(97)00127-4
COMMENTS: High-resolution (0.03 to 0.09 nm) absorption measurements using synchrotron radiation

The spectrum has been remeasured in 2006 at a spectral resolution of 0.001 nm

Molar extinction coefficients vs. photon energy at 0.001-eV intervals have been obtained by personal communication from Robert Locht (Sept 2006) and then converted to absorption cross sections (conversion factor 3.8235×10-21) vs. wavelength
