Cross Sections / Hydrogen+water / H2O / Thompson(1963)_298K_186-198nm

DATAFILE: H2O_Thompson(1963)_298K_186-198nm.txt
NAME: water
FORMULA: H2O
AUTHOR(YEAR): Thompson(1963)
T: 298K
λ: 186-198nm
BIBLIOGRAPHY: B.A. Thompson, P. Harteck, and R.R. Reeves, Jr., "Ultraviolet absorption coefficients of CO2, CO, H2O, N2O, NH3, NO, SO2, and CH4 between 1850 and 4000 Å", J. Geophys. Res. 68, 6431-6436 (1963); DOI: 10.1029/JZ068i024p06431
COMMENTS: Absorption measurements with a Perkin-Elmer spectrophotometer able to measure absorption coefficients k as low as 10-4 cm-1 (~4×10-24 cm2 molecule-1)

Absorption coefficients k (atm, 273K)-1 cm-1 (base e) plotted in Fig 4 have been digitized and converted to absorption cross sections (conversion factor 3.72×10-20)
