Cross Sections / Nitrogen+compounds(N,H,O) / HO2NO2 / Knight(2002)_318K_280-350nm

DATAFILE: HO2NO2_Knight(2002)_318K_280-350nm.txt
NAME: peroxynitric acid
FORMULA: HO2NO2
AUTHOR(YEAR): Knight(2002)
T: 318K
λ: 280-350nm
BIBLIOGRAPHY: G. Knight, A.R. Ravishankara, and J.B. Burkholder, "UV absorption cross sections of HO2NO2 between 343 and 273 K", Phys. Chem. Chem. Phys. 4, 1432-1437 (2002); DOI: 10.1039/B108904H
COMMENTS: Absorption measurements at 273, 296, 318, and 343 K and over the wavelength range 220-350 nm using a 0.5 m spectrometer with a 1024 element diode array detector and a 30 W D2 lamp light source; spectral resolution ∼1.5 nm

The temperature dependence has been parameterized by a simple two component absorption model:

σ(T, λ) = σ0(λ)/Q + σ1(λ)(1 - 1/Q), where Q = 1 + exp(-ΔE/(0.69T)) and ΔE = 988 cm-1.

The spectra have been scaled to the reported cross section data at 250-270 nm of
