DATAFILE: C2H5CHOO_Liu(2014)_298K_288-368nm.txt
NAME: propionaldehyde oxide
FORMULA: C2H5CHOO
AUTHOR(YEAR): Liu(2014)
T: 298K
λ: 288-368nm
BIBLIOGRAPHY: F. Liu, J.M. Beames, A.M. Green, and M.I. Lester, "UV spectroscopic characterization of dimethyl- and ethyl-substituted carbonyl oxides", J. Phys. Chem. A 118, 2298-2306 (2014); DOI: 10.1021/jp412726z
COMMENTS: Synthesis of the alkyl substituted Criegee biradical intermediate by photolysis (118 nm) of a C2H5CHI2 (1,1-diiodopropane) - O2 - Ar gas mixture and subsequent supersonic expansion; absorption measurements of the isolated C2H5CHOO species by electronic excitation of the B ← X transition using tunable UV laser radiation (280-420 nm)

Absorption cross sections have been obtained by personal communication from Fang Liu (April 2014) together with the following remark:

"Please note that due to experimental factors the absolute cross sections may have uncertainties on the order of a factor of 2"
