NAME: hydrogen selenide
FORMULA: H2Se
AUTHOR(YEAR): GoodeveStein(1931)
T: 298K
λ: 193.7-327.1nm(smoo)
BIBLIOGRAPHY: C.F. Goodeve and N.O. Stein, "The absorption spectra and the optical dissociation of the hydrides of the oxygen group", Trans. Faraday Soc. 27, 393-402 (1931); DOI: 10.1039/TF9312700393
COMMENTS: Absorption measurements by photographic photometry, the light sources used were a "Pointolite" for the visible, a mercury arc lamp for the visible and near ultra-violet, a tungsten-steel spark and an aluminium spark for the far ultra-violet

The smooth fit of the measured absorption coefficients k (Torr, 298 K)-1 cm-1 (base 10) vs. wavenumbers has been digitized from Fig. 2 and converted to absorption cross sections (conversion factor 7.11×:10-17) vs. wavelengths
